Creative Operations Manager

We’re looking for a Creative Operations Manager to bring structure, clarity, and speed to our Paid Creative team.

You’ll sit at the centre of Strategy, Design, and Freelancers, owning brief flow, resource allocation, and delivery coordination — ensuring we scale output without slowing down.

What you'll own:

Creative operations & delivery

  • Own the end-to-end flow of briefs from Strategy to execution

  • Ensure briefs are clear, actionable, and ready to go

  • Track all projects, deadlines, and dependencies

  • Maintain visibility on progress, risks, and blockers

  • Proactively follow up to keep work moving

Resource planning & capacity management

  • Allocate work across designers and freelancers

  • Balance workload based on priority and bandwidth

  • Anticipate bottlenecks and adjust resourcing early

Freelancer operations

  • Own freelancers post-contract, end-to-end

  • Onboard, assign work, and manage delivery timelines

  • Act as main point of contact and coordinate feedback

  • Track performance, output, and billing

Workflow optimisation

  • Improve how work flows across Strategy → Design → Freelancers

  • Identify and remove inefficiencies and blockers

  • Keep processes lean, fast, and scalable

Tooling & light automation

  • Ensure tools support efficient execution

  • Identify inefficiencies and support lightweight automation

What we’re looking for in you

  • Strong project management / operations mindset

  • Experience managing multiple creative projects in parallel

  • Comfortable working with freelancers and distributed teams

  • High ownership and proactive problem-solving

  • Detail-oriented but execution-driven

  • Clear communicator across teams

  • Ability to prioritise and make trade-offs in fast-paced environments

  • Experience in paid media / performance-driven environments

  • Teams always know what to work on next

  • Briefs are clear and rarely need rework

  • Projects move fast with minimal follow-up

  • Bottlenecks are solved before escalating

  • Output scales without unnecessary complexity
