We're looking for a Growth Product Manager that will be a vital part of our dynamic remote team. Your role is instrumental in refining the user experience post-acquisition, with a primary emphasis on minimizing churn and enhancing retention. This role requires a robust analytical background and ability to transform data insights into product features and engagement strategies that reduce user long-term churn.
Requirements
- Churn Reduction Strategy: Develop and implement data-driven strategies to identify and address factors contributing to user churn, aiming to improve overall retention rates.
- Data Analysis and Insights: Utilize analytics tools to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), analyze user behavior, and uncover actionable insights. Translate data into strategic recommendations to inform product decisions and growth initiatives.
- User Onboarding, Activation and Engagement: Design and execute initiatives that encourage users to adopt key features, fostering deeper engagement and habit formation.
- Experimentation and Optimization: Design, implement, and analyze A/B tests and other experiments to validate hypotheses and optimize user experiences. Continuously iterate on product features to improve conversion rates and user engagement.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, and customer success teams to align on growth objectives and execute initiatives effectively. Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor strategies, and emerging technologies to identify new growth opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
Desired Skills
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Data Science, or a related field. An advanced degree is a plus.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in product management, growth, or analytics roles, preferably within high-growth startup or health and fitness industry.
- Advanced Analytical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (Tableau, Amplitude). Strong ability to interpret complex data sets and derive actionable insights. SQL knowledge is preferred.
- Experimentation Expertise: Hands-on experience designing and executing A/B tests and a solid understanding of statistical analysis.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with product analytics platforms and ability to learn new tools and to get things done independently.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with a talent for presenting complex data problems to business stakeholders clearly and effectively.
- Problem-Solving: Creative thinker with a track record of developing effective solutions to complex challenges.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ownership: Experience in owning and delivering business KPIs
